In front of mountain

Border A-H
We leave Pama towards the wind turbines, go under the A6 motorway, and follow the path beside the wind turbines to the right, heading towards Berg. Arriving in Berg, we admire the Catholic church and rest at the tri-border fountain. From here, we climb up the Kirchberg. After a few kilometers of steep ascent, we reach the summit and the meteorological observatory. Next to it is a lookout tower, offering a magnificent view of the surroundings; nearby one can see Bratislava with the castle. After the tower, it goes downhill through an area protected by wildlife fences. The path passes by the ruins of Rothenburg Castle. After another descent, we reach the town of Wolfsthal.

Note(s)
The Jakobsweg in Hungary from Budapest to Wolfsthal runs continuously on the western or southern side of the Danube. Wolfsthal is located slightly southwest of Bratislava, making the continuation of the path from Wolfsthal westwards also a route for pilgrims coming from Slovakia.
From Rajka to Berg, no other tourist markings accompany us, so we follow the Jakobsweg markings. In Berg up to the lookout tower, we encounter Austrian white stripes; afterwards, only the Jakobsweg markings again.
