    If we have nice and dry weather for today's stage, and have already been able to book accommodation in Orbe according to a pilgrim budget, then there is nothing to fault on the stage from Jougne to Orbe along the Orbe and we can enjoy the day. For wet weather, however, we have a "Lignerolle variant" available, and if the accommodations in Orbe and/or Lausanne do not fit our budget, then we recommend studying the "Romainmôtier variant" well,

    Anmerkungen

    The "Via Francigena" is one of the 3 Christian pilgrimage routes of the Middle Ages, whose main axis leads from Canterbury in England to Rome. This documentation initially covers the section from Pontarlier to Rome.
