Variante Solothurn - Burgdorf

Today's daily section will lead us over a distance of 24.2 km with a walking time of around 6.0 hours from Solothurn to Burgdorf. We expect a medium daily stage. We start the hike in the center of Solothurn and immediately cross the Aare river over the Wengibrücke. We follow the signposted paths and after about 2.0 km cross the motorway. The path leads us today over asphalt and natural paths. After about 6.0 km we reach the course of the Emme river. We follow this and arrive after about 19.0 km in Kirchberg. We reach Burgdorf, and at 538 m altitude also the highest point of the daily stage, after a further 5.0 km along the Emme.
