Bruenig-Brienz

Today's stage will take us over a distance of 10.3 km with a walking time of about 3.0 hours from Brünig to Brienz. We can expect a moderate day stage. We start the hike in a westerly direction at Brünigpass station and follow the signposted paths. The route today leads us over asphalt and natural paths. After 2.0 km, we reach the Tschuggen viewpoint, at 1,082 m elevation also the highest point of the day's stage. This is followed by a challenging descent and after about 4.0 km we arrive in Brienzwiler. The path continues through Hofstetten and around Schwanden. The last 2.0 km we walk along Lake Brienz and arrive in Brienz.
