We could extend this impression if Mont Moron did not block our view on the way to Bellelay. An alternative is this "Moron variant," which leads us over Mont Moron. The view from up there is further enhanced by the 30-meter-high viewing platform designed by Mario Botta. Shortly before Bellelay, we rejoin the main route.
With this variant, we have two options: we use Perrefitte as an overnight stop and hike back a short distance to the junction the next day, or we proceed through and leave Perrefitte on the right.

Anmerkungen
The Three Lakes Route connects the "Regio Basiliensis" with the Romandie, where it joins the "Romandie Route" at Payerne, which continues via Geneva to France.
Tipp des Autors
Due to storm damage, the lookout tower on the Moron variant cannot be visited for an indefinite period!! If weather and the condition of those involved allow, I would not miss this experience. The stages in this documentation are suggestions that each pilgrim can adapt to their wishes. However, the technical data always assume that these stages are completed in one day each.
