Perroy

Today's stage will lead us over a distance of 29.1 km with an estimated walking time of about 7.5 hours from Allaman to Céligny. It will be a difficult day stage. We start the hike at the Route Suisse and leave Allaman heading towards Lake Geneva. We follow the signposted paths and arrive in Rolle after about 5.0 km. Today the path leads us over asphalt and natural trails. After about 9.0 km, just before Bursinel, we reach the highest point of the day at 437 m above sea level. The path continues through Dully and we reach Glad after about 14.5 km. We leave Glad and cross the Promenthouse river and the cantonal road. After about 19.0 km, we arrive at Château Prangins. The path continues through Nyon, along the Bougy forest, and we arrive in Céligny.

Today we pass the following sights: Church of Allaman, Rolle Castle, Bursinel Castle, Prangins Castle, Nyon Castle, Church of Céligny.

It is possible to split the stage and spend the night at the pilgrim hostel in Gland.

Anmerkungen

The section Allaman - Céligny is part of the Romandie route, which will lead us from Romont to Geneva. We are on the Swiss Way of St. James.
