    Those arriving by train for the stage from Biel to Neuveville will find the rocky Biel emergency slope between the station and the route beginning at the town church, which cannot be climbed directly. Instead of taking the detour via the town church, the shortcut presented here shows a route that starts on the lake side of the station and leads quite directly to the main route.

    Anmerkungen

    The Drei-Seen-Weg connects the «Regio Basiliensis» with the Romandie, where it flows into the «Weg der Romandie» near Payerne, which continues via Geneva to France.

    On this direct route from the station to the main route, there is a park café that might offer us a second breakfast if it is already open then.
