Today's section will take us over a distance of 23.5 km with a walking time of about 6.0 hours from Pfäffikon to Rapperswil-Jona. We can expect a moderate day stage. We start the hike at the Pfäffikon village church and leave the town along Lake Pfäffikon heading south. We follow the signposted paths and arrive in Wetzikon after about 6.0 km. The route today leads us over asphalt and natural paths. We cross the railway tracks and follow them until we reach Sennwald. The path continues and after about 16.0 km we arrive in Bubikon. We leave this locality towards Egelsee and reach the first suburb of Rapperswil-Jona after about 20.0 km. We follow the Höhenweg and cross the main road. We follow Meienbergstrasse until we turn onto Brauereiweg. Shortly afterwards we cross a railway track and reach a main road. We follow this and arrive in the center of Rapperswil-Jona.
