    Fischingen: Benedictine Monastery St. John

    Today's stage will take us over a distance of 9.5 km with a walking time of about 3.0 hours from Fischingen to Steg. We can expect a medium stage. We start the hike at the southwest corner of the St. Johann monastery by crossing the Murg and follow the signposted paths along the Aubach. After about 2.0 km we reach Au. Today the path leads us over roads and natural trails. After about 6.0 km we reach the Hörnli at 1,126 m altitude, the highest point of the stage. The path then leads southwards down into the Tösstal where we arrive in Steg.

    Today we pass the following sights: St. Anna Church in Au.

    There is the possibility to stay overnight at the Berggasthaus Hörnli.

    Anmerkungen

    The section Fischingen - Steg is part of the Schwabenweg, which will take us from Konstanz to Einsiedeln on the Swiss Jakobswege.
