Beckenried-Stans

Today's stage will take us over a distance of 11.0 km with a walking time of about 3.0 hours from Beckenried to Stans. We can expect an easy stage for the day. We start the hike at the Klewenalp valley station and follow the marked paths westward to Oberdorf. Past Ridli, the path leads along the highway down to the main road. After about 4.0 km, we arrive in Buochs. Crossing the highway, we leave Buochs westward and reach the district of Obergass. Today the path leads us over asphalt and natural trails. After 8.3 km at an elevation of 566 m, we reach Waltersberg, the highest point of the day. The path continues crossing the Engelberger Aa around Oberdorf, and we arrive in Stans.
